HBUT signed agreement of running school jointly with British Anglia Ruskin University

Jan.16th, 2013, four-person delegation led by vice president of British Anglia Ruskin University visited our school and had exchanges, vice president Zhang Yingjiang and directors of international office and school of computer science warmly welcomed the guest.


On the meeting, two parties introduced their universities to each other. Vice president Zhang Yingjiang warmly welcomed delegation's visit, emphasized that both universities were devoted to enhance schooling level, and attached importance to mutual development in scientific research, teaching and quality assurance, hoped that both parties can carry out deeper cooperation. Vice president Sandra Hollis was very appreciated for our warm welcome and was looking forward to the cooperation and exchange tomorrow. Later, the two parties intensively discussed about cooperation model, including jointly running school, teachers training programs and students exchange and so on.

At the meeting, the two parties signed cooperation memorandum, laid out the frame of collaboration programmes; later, the two parties singed cooperation agreement that two universities develop joint school-running in mechanical design and manufacture and electronics information engineering. The two joint school-running agreements' signing marked a great breakthrough our university's engineering programs has made in international cooperative schooling. The two programs were planned to be reported formally to Ministry of Education next spring.

British Anglia Ruskin University is the sixth British university which our university establishes cooperation relationship with, it marked the cooperation and exchange between our university and British comprehensive universities is deepened further.
